With Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekahwat, the incumbent vice president also in the fray as an independent with the support of BJP, now the arena is clear for a direct fight. With Ms. Mayawathi the BJP chief and the newly elected chief minister of UP extending her support to congress led candidate Mrs.Prathiba Patil seems to be the clear winner. Let us wait and see...

Rajnikanth in Shivaji Released

The much expected Tamil Film starred by Rajnikanth has been released today. The film has been released in 650 theatres in India and 300 other overseas theatres. It's learnt that people have even spent close to Rs.2500 for a ticket.

US Missile Defence System

The plan to install missile defence system in Europe by United States has taken a setback following the opposition from Russia. Russia deems the system to be targeted against it. The contention of United States that (the so called rogue states) countries like Iran, North Korea and Syria can target US is ridiculously untrue.
